When forging products of different diameters with the heading machine, the machine needs to change the mold, or if the mold is damaged, the punch die needs to be replaced. When changing the mold, it is often necessary to make fine adjustments to the axial position of the large slider, so that the gap between the molds is not too large or too small, preventing the mold from pressing against the mold, which would prevent the machine from rotating.

The header machine must be cleaned once a day to remove dirt and ensure smooth oil flow. Before starting the header machine, lubricate the entire machine and run it idle for a few minutes before officially starting work.

The header machine can change molds according to the heading size based on the pipe diameter. Internal parts are made of bearing steel and other materials. The friction plate is mainly used to prevent rotation. The oil pump is used to supply lubricating oil to the machine body and circulate, making it difficult for the main internal parts to be damaged.

Workflow:

1. Hexagon bolt (four molds four punches or three molds three punches)

(1) Cutting: The wire stuck in the cutting mold is cut into the required blank by the unidirectional movement of the moving scissors.

(2) First punch: The rear punch presses against the blank mold to shape the blank, and then the rear punch pushes the blank out.

(3) Second punch: The blank enters the second punch mold, the second punch mold is pressed, and the blank takes on an oval shape, which is then pushed out by the rear punch mold.

(4) Third punch: The blank enters the third punch mold, is sheared by the core of the hexagon third punch, and initially forms the hexagon head of the blank. After that, the rear punch pushes the blank

Enter the third mold, cutting off the cutting material from the hexagon head to form the hexagon head.
